Commentary
For causing to understand
the people, Allah Almighty describes by giving similitude. The aim of these
examples is that the people should understand the Commandments of God Almighty
clearly, not that they should begin absurd reasoning and contradiction.
It has been explained in
this lesson that the Believers take this example as true and proper explainer
and consider it right from God. But the Infidels begin to deride on these
examples and they ask as satire that what God Almighty means by giving these
kinds of resemblances?
The Believers have full
faith in it that God Almighty is Worshipped and Muhammad (SallAllaahu alayHi wa AaliHii Wasallam) is His True Messenger.
They consider it their first duty to obey the Commands of God Almighty and His
Messenger (SallAllaahu
alayHi wa AaliHii Wasallam), and act upon them. They believe in Their Sayings with true
heart. Therefore, if God Almighty mentions any similitude, they try to
understand its true object. They don’t care that the similitude is of what sort
itself? Whether is it customary or have some importance? Whether any superior
thing has been described in it or inferior? Moreover, they think about its true
purpose and learn from it.
The Infidels deny Allah
Almighty and disbelieve in His Prophet (SallAllaahu alayHi wa AaliHii Wasallam). They don’t have any
interest to find the Just. They just keep watching the secrets in the verses;
either to find out faults or criticize unnecessarily. So, whenever Allah
Almighty describes any likeness for their consideration, then in spite of
trying to understand its true meanings, they begin to raise unreasonable
questions regarding it and ask from the Believers as satire: What does God
desire by giving such kind of similitude?
In this verse, there is a
lesson that the Believers and the people who have good moral character are
those; who think about the similitude; explained by Allah Almighty, try to
understand it and give up irregular debate.
