Commentary

After describing the result of infidels and deniers in the previous verse, now the condition of such people is being explained; whose faces will be whitened with the Light of Belief and Piety on the Day of Resurrection.  Allah Almighty will let them entered in His Mercy and provide them place for dwelling in the house of pleasure and comfort.

The real truth of any matter becomes conspicuous by comparing. Therefore, value of the righteousness appears when vicious results of badness would have been cleared. Moreover, the value of the whiteness increases when taken a look at the blackness. Hence, these two types of verses accompany. In the former verse, it has been described that the people, who either didn’t embrace Islam even after listening to the invitation of the last Messenger, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him) and the Holy Qur’an, or they just admitted by tongue the Truth of the Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him), but heartily they remained infidels and in spite of believing in the good news of earlier Scripture, they had been falsifying the Prophet of Islam (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him). Allah Almighty will punish them severely.

Now about those people it has been mentioned, who accepted Islam by their true nature. They believed in Allah Almighty, admitted the Prophet Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) as a true and the last Messenger, put the teachings of Holy Qur’an and the traditions of Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) into practice. Allah Almighty will bring them to the Heaven. Every kind of Blessings is present there. They will live there for ever. They will never be destroyed there.

Allah Almighty compares between the Believer and the Infidel, the Heaven and the Hell, so that the sensible people would have to learn from it and become eligible for the Heaven in the Hereafter by passing good-working life in this world. Nevertheless, commonly the human being tries to collect the worldly benefits because he has no more belief in Allah Almighty and the Day of Judgment. Perhaps he considers that these things have no reality. Otherwise, it can never be possible that even after such palpable and clear explanation, any person goes towards the badness in spite of the goodness, does not think the lie as a lie and the sin as a sin, and remains involved in plundering and ravaging unlawfully, and be present in the Court of Allah Almighty after becoming disgraced. May Allah Almighty save us from the disgrace, bestow us success in the world and in the Hereafter, even if we face some difficulties and sufferings in the world, give us courage to bear with them, so that the permanent and endless life of the Hereafter would not effect.
